Tesla Drops Steam Support in Some New Model X Deliveries

The decision to remove Steam support from some new Model X deliveries raises questions about the future of gaming in Tesla vehicles. The company has removed the feature, from its Cybertruck. Hasn’t mentioned any intentions to introduce the gaming platform to its Model Y and Model 3 vehicles even though newer models come with enhanced AMD Ryzen processors.

Furthermore Tesla has a track record of taking games off its cars like Sonic the Hedgehog. This new update implies that the company might be changing its focus from, in car gaming because of cost saving efforts and a concentration, on advancing robotaxi technology. As Tesla continues to evolve, it remains to be seen whether Steam support and other gaming features will remain a part of the company’s vision for the future of transportation.
