Nintendo has revealed they will host their first Indie World Showcase of 2024 tomorrow, April 17th. The digital event will run for approximately 20 minutes and focus on new indie games launching on the Nintendo Switch throughout the year.
During the stream, Nintendo will showcase a variety of indie titles from developers both big and small. The Indie World Showcase serves as a platform for Nintendo to highlight the diverse selection of independently developed games coming to their hybrid console. In the past, these showcases have revealed dozens of new titles along with release windows.
What To Expect?
One of the most highly anticipated announcements could be an update on Hollow Knight: Silksong. The sequel to the beloved Metroidvania was revealed back in 2019 but has seen few updates since. With its iconic art style and challenging combat, Silksong would be a perfect fit for the Switch. Only tomorrow’s Indie World Showcase will reveal if fans will finally get a release date.
